With this data protection notice, we, TV1 GmbH, inform you about which personal data we collect, process and use when you visit our website http://www.livetranslation.ai. You will also find out what rights you have in relation to the processing of your data.
The controller within the meaning of data protection laws, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is

General
**Data collection and scope of use**
We collect and use personal data only if and insofar as this is necessary for the realisation or use of the respective service or function. The term “personal data” refers to all individual details about an identified or identifiable natural person, such as their contact details or the content of entries in (contact) forms.
On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This may, for example, be data that you enter in a contact form.
Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page view).
**Purposes and legal bases of data processing**
Some of the personal data is collected in order to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.
We collect and process personal data only if:
– you have given your express consent to this,
– the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you,
– processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation, or
– the processing is necessary to safeguard legitimate interests and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in the non-processing of your data.
Insofar as we collect, process or use personal data, we comply with the applicable statutory provisions, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG). We only process your personal data for the purposes stated in this privacy policy. In particular, the data you provide to us will not be used for advertising purposes.
**Disclosure of personal data**
We pass on personal data collected via our website to state institutions, authorities and courts insofar as we are obliged to do so or insofar as this is necessary for legal defence or the assertion of rights. Unless expressly stated in this privacy policy, we do not transfer personal data to countries outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA). Insofar as we transfer personal data (or data that can be related to personal data) (e.g. IP addresses) to third countries in accordance with this privacy policy, we hereby inform you that a different level of data protection may apply there that does not correspond to that of the EU. By using our website, you consent to the transfer to such a country.
Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those mentioned. We may use technical service providers for the operation of the website within the scope of commissioned processing of personal data. If personal data is transmitted to these service providers, this is done within the framework of commissioned processing of personal data in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
**Storage period and deletion of personal data**
We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data minimisation. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes stated here or for the various storage periods stipulated by law. Once the respective purpose no longer applies or these periods have expired, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.
